Estee Lauder: Gloss.com Redesign

Gloss

In early 2002, Estee Lauder wanted to transform Gloss.com (their one stop online shop for Lauder brands) into a best of breed online shopping experience that included products from everyone who’s anyone in beauty. Gloss.com would become a world-class portal that offered quality customer service, expert tips, and more premier brand products than any other site. All participating brands would migrate to the Gloss platform and share a common, Gloss-branded cart and checkout experience while functioning as independent sites within the Gloss portal. The result was a systematic redesign that standardized landing, product, and promotional pages with a set of templates that could reflect the unique branding of each participant. It also provided users with a common portal experience complete with a Gloss-branded cart and checkout. Participating brands: Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Clarins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Jo Malone, Mac, Origins, Prescriptives, Stila
