Conservation.org needed a brand new site that would entice their growing public (and younger audiences) to donate (especially) online without alienating its current users. They needed to get their point across immediately by establishing a strong brand and better-showcasing their mission and accomplishments, both verbally and through imagery. CI also needed an experience that would allow users to easily navigate the thousands of photos and videos they had on hand with a strategy that would allow users to discover relevant media throughout the site. Finally, the homepage had to be designed to gracefully handle timely campaigns and site features would have to explain key initiatives in an engaging and interactive way.
